Geophysical services
GeoVista has long experience of planning, performance, quality control and interpretation of geophysical surveys around the world. We conduct geophysical measurements in many projects within infrastructure, environmental and mineral exploration.
The different geophysical methods have different advantages and possibilities but also limitations. By using the right geophysical method in the right surrounding big profits can be made. We have long experience and knowledge in how to perform geophysical measurements with excellent quality. Read more about our offer of geophysical methods that we conduct in the list on the right side.
We also carry out smaller geodetic surveying as well as sampling and analysis of petrophysical properties of bedrock samples.

Interpretation of geophysical survey data
We have long experience and genuine knowledge of how to perform different geophysical surveys and how the data should be processed, quality controlled and interpreted.
We have performed many surveys and interpretations in confidential exploration projects during the years. We process, interpret and present according to the clients demand.
Geodetic surveying
Using GPS, Precision -GPS (RTK) and conventional geodetic instruments we carry out surveying of eg. drillholes and local grid systems. We use precision GPS equipment for regional and local gravity surveys and drillhole surveys (for position, dip and azimuth). Of course in other surveys that require an accurate elevation reading.
Petrophysics
Sampling and measurements of petrophysical properties are made in the field. The sample is then sent to a laboratory and in some instances we carry out the laboratory measurements ourselves.
The properties commonly determined in the field are:
– Electric resistivity
– Magnetic susceptibility
– Gamma spectrometry
In the laboratory:
-Density
-Magnetic remanence
-Magnetic anisotropy
-Spectral Induced Polarization (IP) & resistivity
