Welcome Paal Ahnfelt!

We welcome Paal Ahnfelt as a new employee at GeoVista. Paal has a M.Sc. in Marine Geophysics and B.Sc. in Structural Geology. He has solid experience of mineral exploration from Boliden, where he has worked for the past 10 years to develop new mineral deposits. Paal will be a strong addition to GeoVista’s exploration team.

Gravity survey at Tomtebo

GeoVista and Geopartner have carried out a gravity survey over the historic Tomtebo mining area in central Sweden, on an exploration license held by District Metals Corp. Modelling carried out by GeoVista indicates the potential for significant tonnage of polymetallic mineralization. The project is presented in a video by Garrett Ainsworth of District Metals.

GeoVista Welcomes Linn Holmbom as a new coworker

Linn has a B.Sc. in Jurisprudence from Luleå University of Technology and will primarily work with permit matters. With her skills and experience, she will be a strong addition to GeoVista’s operations in explorations permits, work plans, exploitation concessions etc. Linn comes most recently from Luleå municipality, where she worked as a building permit administrator.

GeoVista welcomes Barbara Kern as a new coworker

Barbara is a geologist (M.Sc.) with several years of exploration experience in Norrbotten.

She has also worked with quarries and permit cases. With her skills and experience, she will be a strong addition to GeoVista’s operations.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

This year, GeoVista donates a gift to Doctors Without Borders and a gift to the Prostate Cancer Foundation (in the free match that goes December 30 against Umeå BSKT at 17.00. Luleå Energi Arena)

The winter holidays are a time of giving. Rehydration salts for example. Therefore, we have made a donation to Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), supporting their work to provide medical aid where it’s needed most. Our Christmas gift is enough to deliver 18 cholera kits that consists of medicines, rehydration salts, fluids, chlorine and plastic sheeting. The gift to the Prostate Cancer Foundation will support swedish research and development on prostate cancer.
